These adorable little horses are the fruits of a project I have been working on for over a year now.
Standing at just 263 mm tall, these perfect little G&J Lines copies, are the space saving dream!
Individually hand painted, so each one is unique,
Number 8 is heavily aged, I wanted him to look 100 years old, so he has lots of scuffs an wear, his stirrups and reins are missing, just as we would generally find on a genuine antique horse.
Number 9 is the opposite, no aging at all, so as new, with a more modern look. I chose a light teal blue for this one with silver decorative studs.
Number 10 is more subtly aged, but has a thick black mane and bright red saddle cloth and rosettes.
The mane and tail on all three is made with mohair and they all have deerskin tack.
Full Measurements:
Total height - 263mm (approx. 10.5")
Total Length - 465mm (approx. 18")
Total width - 95 mm (approx. 3 3/4")
Actual Horse:
Horse height - 200 mm ( approx. 8")
Length hoof to hoof - 295mm (approx. 11.5")
I designed these from scans of my little Lines 21 “Ghost” and 3D printed using PLA which is an the most environmentally friendly option I could find. (PLA stands for Polylactic Acid and is a bio-plastic, made from cornstarch.) The bows are made from bamboo, but I had to return to timber for the smaller parts of the bow, including the turned beech spindles.
They are small enough to fit in a standard Royal Mail medium parcel and will be posted using the Signed For service
