My latest piece, trying to stay away from realism, as much as I’m comfortable with!
 
This is my “White Tiger in the Pink” although the background is mostly turquoise and gold with a bit of purple, I have used lots of flecks of magenta, throughout his stripes. I really wanted to add colour and depth.
 
I love that he’s a bit boss eyed, he reminds me of “Clarence the cross eyed lion” if anyone remembers him! I’m not sure of my models name but he was a beautiful beast I saw at the West Midland Safari Park a few years ago.
 
This original painting, is acrylic on 4 cm deep canvas and is quite a whopper at 70 cm x 100 cm (a bit less than 28” x 40” in old money”) He can be yours for £850
